Physical Therapy

Physical therapy promotes each child’s special strengths by improving their functional skills in mobility, posture and movement transitions within the school environment. The use of specialized adaptive and assistive technology—including gait trainers, powered wheelchairs, orthotics and walkers—helps each child progress to their full potential. Through a prestigious Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation Quality of Life Grant, HollyDELL, Inc. acquired the Lite Gait® and GaitKeeper® mobility devices. These unique partial weight-bearing supported walking systems allow students to learn to stand and walk upright with the proper patterns of walking. In addition, a state-of-the-art playground area allows students to experience the joy of outdoor recreation with friends and classmates during the school day. All physical therapists are licensed physical therapists in the state of NJ and have earned Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees.
